THANKYOU!!!!!! To everyone who came out and supported this event!

Western Sydney Shootout was definately a succesful day! On Friday we thought the weather was going to ruin it all but by sunday the skies blessed the track.
In Luge 83mm wheels definately dominated the track! Congratulations to Tyler who out performed everyone, As the wind picked up and times got slower Tyler just got Quicker. This was his first race and Decked out like the Black night himself Tyler had plenty of class.
Dave Kelly tried everything he could to gain 5000ths of a second to try and snatch the victory from Tyler, He even waited for the wind to calm but it just wasn't enough. And in third we had Craig Mears who even chipped in and did some walky Talky time!

Speedboarders Certainly were challenged at Hell corner! Lucky I got the 5 Hay Bails, I almost didn't bother.
We saw just about everyone eat Straw from some of Australias top riders right to beginers.
By the end of the day Jackson Shapiera had mastered the course, I think I even saw him nail the corner without braking beforehand.
Earlier on in the day the speedboarders were wishing that NS Brad had stuck to luge as he dominated the group. Even Dave kelly jumped on the board and showed us all how well an FSU board rides.
Everyone pushed their heart out and held on for grim death around the corner.

Katie took out first in Womens Buttboard & Streetluge, Despite being the only entrant she showed alot of style and had extremely competative times. After wiping out she picked up her board and ran up to do it all again.

In Buttboard sidecar nic after only riding Buttboard over the past six months or so had a grip on first place. Later on in the day alot of the guys who had been riding luge decided to jump on the Buttboard. NS Brad I think wiped out on the corner(I'm only going by the cheers that could be heard from the top) and likewise Daz the cowboy who had some of the best streetluge times earlier on, ate it on the corner. I had a crack on the Pink Demon and took a couple of seconds away from Nic taking out first.

Inline...... Do I need to say anymore we all know who won inline. I think sean is the only entrant due to the fact that he is so damn quick, nobody dares challenge him. He had I think the fastest time down the hill overall

Gravity bikes only had one entrant despite there being a spare bike lying around. Gus apparently had a bad stack on his G bike and was nominated for best stack of the day.

Billy Carts saw two competitors and wowed everyone all day with their impressive speeds and smooth cornering.
The blue billy cart took out first after wispering assasin blew a tyre and only had a spare with a pin hole in it.

Best stack went to Rex on speedboard who felt like doing a bit of Yoga so he face planted the Yoga mat that was placed around a pole.
That was his one and only run for the day.

Despite this being "just a bike track" it certainly shook a few riders up and gave everyone that competative fix needed to inspire them into running another race.
You only get out what you put in, and everybody gave it their best, making this event awesome.
Thanks to FSU, SkaterHQ, Jackson & Hop for all the prizes. Their support is what keeps the scene growing.

Final Results will be posted shortly!

Cheers phill
