Alternative Helmet.

Hi guys, this is my new helmet. Comes without a visor, this one is one I made. Mid-range weight, excellent front and peripheral vision, better than any helmet I've worn for vision.

I'm considering getting one of these, but out of curiosity before I do - how do these things compare to regular motocross/motorcycle helmets in terms of strength or protection or whatever, being a pit crew helmet and all.
