ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

No i'm not a board brand, and no i am not commercial.

But i have verry little to no talent with art.
Would anyone like to help design a logo for skatement?

I'm just after a logo for the word, kinda like the hand written one done on my boards so far. (look at my home page if you want to see what i mean)

I have been told to try to get a HD logo, i am not really sure what that is????
I will contact the person who's design i like before i use it.
I will make you a board at some time in the future as payment.
Leave a message/picture/logo on my page, or on this discussion

Feel free to hassel me as a clogger.

Why not just use what you have at the moment?

If you take a nice square (straight on) high quality photo, i can make it into a vector file for you.
That way you can take it to a printer, or sign writer, and they can cut or print stickers out for you.
Plus you will be able to use it on anything else like a website, business cards.... At any size.

And most of all it will be custom, then just use a secondary font to go with it.

I like what you have already got to be honest, looks messy and mean with street cred kind of
thing is i would like it computerised rather than having to use a paint pen every time????

so i can print it and stick it to a deck cut bits out and paint it on and have it the same every time.

would you want the logo to be filled (coloured)?
how big do you want it to be?
and what style do you want it written in?

How about something like this.
except it will be the right way and neatened up a bit (camera took it in opposite)

Adam, I agree with Grits. He can turn this into a vector file and then you can use it and the jpg's for all your stuff. Your handwritten version looks great.

Tanya Trying to keep it pretty angular , so i can do something like it by hand if i need to ad something else like "for rob, john, fred etc", size i guess if its computerised i will be able to change the size each time i print it out, the ones on my board at the moment are about as long as my hand.

Colours basically red or blue just a single colour so if i make a stencil from it i can just fill in the holes with paint.

Special thanks to grits who seems keen to help with the "bird of prey" stencil, dude has talent.

I plan to use a method pete hill mentioned on a post about logo's, place stips of painters masking tape on the bottom of the deck, side by side, with no gaps, print out the logo What ever size) glue logo to masking tape, scalpel out the logo peel off the cut out bits then paint the stencil then pull off all the tape, then its done?
does that sound ok??????????

Sue, its actually my amazingly talented partners hand written version. i am a gumby, but it does look good. Thanks i appreciate it.

These are both very simple, created in Paint.NET. I can jazz them up a bit for your specifications. Any suggestions? Boarders, fading, mixed colours etc. Name what you want
Plus there are like a billion different fonts that i have or i can source so if you find or see one you like tell me.
