Stevedawg on Mt Stuart from Jackson Shapiera on Vimeo.

Free riding Mt Stuart in Townsville, Australia. This was one of the best free ride events (or any event) i have ever attended. Big props to all the organizers for giving us such an epic hill and great vibes

no trucks are 'that much better' than others. i like the feel of the kookies better but the smokies are a very very nice truck indeed. When it comes down to this high end gear your barely gonna be able to tell the difference until you have really tried them all out for a long time and put your riding style to the test with the equipment.
The only difference between smokies and kookies that you would be able to feel is that kookies will turn more when cruising down to the shops

all the riders in this vid are on kookys, all on different boards, lowered glyde, top mount drop through on hellcat and flush mount on jimz, think that kinda shows they will work on anything, this is the first time i rode my kooky hangers in the kooky baseplates, they felt nice. dont think my smokies will we be seeing much use from here on in.

Steve's gas pedal is a wedge-shaped piece of carbon fibre that he's used to increase the height and width of the "ramp" where the board drops down in front of the rear truck.

I've made a gas pedal on a couple of my drop-throughs - just a piece a stiff foam that angles up in front of the rear truck. It lets you feel where the end of the deck is, and gives you a little something to press your foot against.

whats the height clearance of the kookies on a flush-mount board steve? i never really thought about it, coz i know you cant put em on a low drop-thru (like a demonseed) but when i breifly looked at your board it seemed not much lower than mine. i suppose the drop of the actual board would come in to play, but how much clearance do you get on your rig?
