So, if one of these was modified and actually fitted to a board, and an led white light was fitted just under the nose and a red one just under the tail, and the rider was wearing a reflective strip on their jacket; being as the board has four wheels and not two would that then make it safer than a bike; even at night!!! just a thought.

this will definitely not work for a drop deck...especially not your omni.

it's one of the better ideas i've seen. and yeah placing it further back would be more ideal but then whenever you wanna brake you'd have to shift your back foot. think i'll stick to good ol footbraking for now.

Seems like you would need to add a few inches to your favourite board if you added this thing on, to get close to the same feel.
It would be good if the button was somehow further back (closer to the back truck) but the rest of the contraption was still up away from the wheels.
