I hope my testing before hand will show that it is worthwhile to demo.......to everyone at conrod or the esses etc . will keep everyone informed

Bathurst would test that breaking system out for sure do a demo going down conrod, but yet again Bathurst would test out even the best skaters footbreaking hard if they had to.

yeah , I look forward to meeting you down there , my boy Josh is practicing hard out for bathurst and at 14 he is the youngest competitor and he's a good footbreaker , I broke my back in the targa rally at 170mph 10yrs ago and havnt had the same balance (and balls) ever since hence the crap effort at foodbreaking...so this is my hope to be able to ride with him on ANY road (and the rest of the early crew ) without making a dick and nuisence of myself haha

i would hope braking systems remain illegal within the igsa...allowing this would make the sport not skatboarding but closer to billycarts...good idea for any other time tho...if it works for you,do it..be keen to check it out

I am importing the proto types of these for drop deck DH boards and should have them here in a day or two. I cant foot break so I am going to put these through there paces to see if its a worthwhile cause or not before I go to production , If it lets me ride safely on my evo with other competent guys knowing I can check speed quickly and not be a nuisance to them when close together then its a winner...will let you all know and be showing/demoing at Bathurst (they arent legal for IGSA by the way...at least not yet )

i dont think wobbles would happen because your slowing down, also if your running a big deck your weight is not going to be that close to the back trucks (like on the demo board)

i'd like to see a video of this being used at speed.
wouldn't you have to move your weight to the back of the board to get weight onto the break?? = speed wobbles.
or best case, the break works well with your weight forward, the board stops and you keep going...?

yeah i been thinking about it lifting the back of your board off the ground, its a good idea if it works, it would make riding top mounts alot easier if you ask me as the whole footbreaking a top mount is bloody hard to do

if you were goin fast and braked with this do u think it would lift weight off your back wheels causing you to wobble all over the place, while most of the weight is on the brake.?
