People have talked about it, ie, doing it, and you had the balls to get out and explore the idea...bloody brilliant!!!!

Interesting attitudes... I put the vid up cause a few of the guys here were interested. There are lots of cool toys out there that are fun to ride. We have played on skateboards and bikes etc for years and decided to build a scooter to see how it works cause my friend has a background in gravity bikes etc but doesn't skate. Its actually faster than a board and can deal with rougher roads which is kinda cool and opens a few new possibilities down here cause some of the steep roads are too rough to skate on.

I guess is a good insight into the personalities of those that need to hang shit on something slightly different, probably the same ones that get upset when anyone criticises skateboarding.  If you don't like the vid don't watch it..

what response were you expecting posting scooter video on a skateboarding website? post a park scooter video on skateboard.com.au and see how well it goes down.

Go to a gravity association website if you want to post your homemade contraptions going down a hill....

i love how open minded ASRA is considering all the people that say longboards are gay. it was just a muck around project to see if it would work, and it did quite well. chill out

It actually seems to ride well, its basically an extended scooter with a steering damper more like a gravity bike than a skateboard I guess. My friend doesn't ride skateboards but used to ride gravity bikes and wanted to come play. Its marginally quicker than my board and can be ridden on much rougher roads. Got over 70 kph today on a road that the surface was too rough for the skateboard. Breaking is foot like a skateboard...
