I will try that next time. Thanks Ian & Carl. This is only my 2nd time glassing. I was told by the people at the glassing shop that I won't need to lay down a final coat after sanding. I think I shoulda but i couldn't be bothered. I wanted to ride it asap!

sick dude. definitely should have cut the cf off when it was still green. its a lot like cutting grip tape, you can just do it with a Stanley knife. would have saved you heaps of effort like Carl said. also, haven't exactly succeed in my wet sanding efforts but don't you put down a final coat of gloss after sanding?

dot mean to be getting all down on your mod though, its rad!
