Foot braking isn't required - there is an uphill runout.

Big start ramp would be awesome PC! Definately bring it!
Even if you leave it at 5ft. That way it wouldn't be as intimidating for first timers. Of course a roll in option would still be available to riders not wanting to use the ramp at all like most CHC races.

First run in the vid is a DQ, missed at least one cone maybe two, need the video replay to be freeze frame (Hah!) might be difficult to monitor the whole course? Looks fast! Yeeew!

I think technically its SGS into GS - (correct me if i'm wrong)
MickMack got to practice his emergency shut down slide to roll to running backwards away from the brown snake laying across the track.......another essential move to practice to prepare for pump station this time of year

Um Ok so I have not needed to consider a "tuck" for slalom races before. A new skill to work on for the next couple of weeks I guess Ha.

a ramp sounds like a rad idea, and yes we know how to ride down ramps

if they cant they better start learning... i dont think i was ever asked "oh can u roll down a ramp?" at my first slalom race...
