Thanks heaps, it was really nice to meet you, It's funny being a bit older and still new. I really appreciate you taking the time to chat and have a look at things, feedback and stuff. i will be concentrating on reno's for the next few months in between setting up for a press that will allow me to work on bamboo veneer but i will let you all know how it goes. One of the decks first decks i do will be a 9 inch wide one and you can have first option. No pressure cause a few people are keen i just can't make them enough.

hi ching, sorry to be so slow to reply.
the riedell skates are top stuff, i would recommend sure grip for an off the shelf purchase,
they are available at bayside blades over near cheltenham. there is a lady, karen, who rolls on them at frankston with us from time to time. she really likes them.
if you like to tinker, between joe-90 and myself, we could quite easily custom build you a set of proper vert skates. if you require any info, my no. is 0412 545 127. we would be pleased to see another rollerskater in the ranks.
cheers, ludi..

Ching have you seen my latest bamboo board its only 9 inches wide for my little feet. check out the pics in this discussion. thought you might be interested in a look as you have mentioned skinnier boards a bit.

OK. I am discussing my order next week with DH. The shorts start from 32 and up. I spoke to Boomer and he informed me since they are made in Bali they are at least one size smaller then usual. If you use a belt it might work. I let you know after ANZAC day on how I am going with the order.

Ok I ordered one for you but they don't make 28's. Smallest size they make is 32. Don't shoot the messenger. If you are good with needle and stuff you can make them smaller. If not i know somebody who does.
