Brisbane Freeride

Over the past 2-3 years the longboarding scene round Brisbane, the Sunshine and Gold Coast and Australia in general has just blown up like crazy. 

We thought it was about time, we got some of the experienced riders, groms and in some cases mini-groms together for an all out fun freeride. 

The day kicked off at about 8:00, with the exception of Millzy and Ben who managed to get their ages before anyone else. Groups of sunny coast kids, mainly featuring the Grom Squad, Brizzy kids from all over the place and even a few GC boys came together in the heart of Brisbane for a day of epic freeride. 

An extremely relaxed atmosphere was maintained throughout the day, with a few scary moments, including a visit from the police and Tim Curry running into a car and intelligently yelling "ouch." 

Huge shout out to Millzy, Arbi and the parents of the boys for both helping with safety and organisation of the day. Special thanks to Arbi for politely addressing the police, getting them to leave and allowing the day could continue.

Everyone had a sick shred, watched some sick shredding and met new skaters.

I know Chad was extremely stoked with the Original Trucks he received as a prize ;) 

It was all round a sick day, and was nice to get experienced guys and groms together to just relax and just skate.
