Round 2 of the 2007 Conehead Cup went off with a record 38 riders from around Australia taking on the flesh-tearing crete of Kincumber Ditch.
After an extended period of wet weather, a couple of days of sun had us optimistic that the ditch would be dry, and so it seemed when we arrived. A drainage ditch on the NSW Central Coast was the venue for the best day of racing in a long while. It had everything—cones, transition, and sausages. The NACOSS guys put a great show on and worked really hard to get the ditch clean and skateable.
