"Hi Dylan, Just check the kingpin hole in your hanger, make sure the small end of the bushing isnt slippin off the inside of the bushing seat and "poking" thru the hanger. But if it works, it works, even tho it mightn't be designed to…"

"inverting the conical bushing makes them turn more, but makes them less stable when going at higher speeds. you could say skateboarding in general is unsafe.... skateboards are designed for creativity, so play with your setups and tweak the shit out…"

Inverting the bushings on randals?

I was finding turning on my randal 180's a bit stiff on my uni commuter (gravity GS32) so I thought I'd try inverting the bushings on the front truck so that the narrow end of each bushing now touches the hanger. Now HEAPS better for dodging pedestrians.I briefly had the back trucks bushings inverted too, but found that not only was it then TOO turny but there was heaps of rattle in the top washer when riding.Just wanted some advice as to if anyone thinks inverting the bushings would be a bad…See More

Hi Dylan, welcome to the site. I think Qld is becoming the same as every other state in Aust - for a road to be legal to skate on it has to have all 3of the following things:
1) be daylight
2) have a speed limit of 50km/h or less
3) have no lane markings or median strip.

Check out Haggy's interview on ABC radio. (Haggy's the ASRA Prez)
