hey man, to build a board, start thinking about the press you want, wether it be a tub concave, a flatcave \___/ or any variation, better to start simple, now the most cost effective press for a beginner is probably a ribb press or a dimm press, search these on silverfish. now the next thing is to get materials for wood, this is what took me the longest and im still not happy with it, youll want to get 3mm or 4mm plywood, structural. i use marine ply, however the best thing that you can use would be 1.6mm veneer
then, get some water proof pva, its pretty cheap, and reliable on a short term basis.
otherwise you can get some epoxy, but whats the point, unless you have veneer, the bonds dont matter all that much cos its already prelam. to find wood, go to the yellow pages or the internet and search wood shops or lumber stores in your area.
