awsome dude, we had a boat up in that area for quite some time, so i know it pretty well however that was before i was skateing but now that i think of it hammo would have so pretty rad places, and traffic wouldent be an issue thanks to them golf carts lol. from memory the roads leading to the airport on the island where pretty nuts...
i too have just bought an aus board, FSU fatboy, should be here soon...
hopefully with the groth of the sport local companys will step up and demand for them will increase...

Hey man, just wanted to let you know i agree with you Re Pete's attitude with Glyde.
its frustrating that he has acted like that on a public forum and makes it hard to even want to support the company, i have ridden the boards before and they are world class.
as i said i just wanted to let you know that I'm with you this, people get really cought up in company's and people that they have personal connections with witch really has nothing to do with what you said, you commented on the way his attitude came across in the post, witch is fair enough however everyone else got offended and took it as a personal attack on Pete.

I do get frustrated at Australians attitudes to the world market but there are some dudes doing it right and they deserve our support, have a look around the local Makers here http://www.skateboardracing.org.au/forum/categories/homegrown-gear/listForCategory and FSU's website http://www.skateboarddownhill.com/

see you on a hill some time man
Callum
