This deck is awesome, rode it a few weeks ago and it was love at first ride
I find this image tasteful with good legs, lines, balanced colours and great resolution - good on you trav for heading up a quality image
As a woman, I don't find this image offensive. In fact, how do you know this isn't a picture of a woman who own's this skateboard? Is it not being "sexist" just to assume that a woman with great legs (and yes I'm jealous) wouldn't also ride a board?
I like it Trav.
and who's to assume that they are a set of legs from a girl? I've seen robs legs, they go for miles and are really tan!
Excellent work lads!
To all those howling with indignation.....start your own mags, steadfastly apply your commendable editorial standards, then sit back and reap the rewards....OR NOT.... (rewards that is).
So Robbo did those shoes hurt?????
Talk about blowing things out of proportion.
(imo its just as bad assuming that the girl on the picture is a dumb bimbo who uses the board as an fashion accessory, when it could be a picture of Brianne Davies or some other talented female speedboarder)
First of all its not like heelside is a world famous magazine aimed at a big market that might actually be influenced by this. Most of the people who buy heelside (I imagine are either members of asra or fellow longboarders) This I belive that this imagine wont have any sort of impact (negative or positive) nor dont I think its sending some kind of underlying message about longboarding in generel. Its just a picture with a nice pair of legs and a nice board.
Imo the magazine would sell just as many copies if it featured travs hairy legs and a kebbek board.
Stop over thinking it and just enjoy the magazine :D
I agree with Jacko, Why the discussion?
My daughters, who raced at MOTH recently, agree. Nice legs, nice board, cool mag - go Trav.....move on.
