I didn't bother (read: tried to but failed) epoxy my kingpins down. instead I just ram the allen key part of my T-tool in the baseplate when ever i need to change bushings =D

yeah we have both.
Might just be in my head, but I think the regular Indy plates with epoxy'd kingpins have a bit more slop.
The angles on the core plates are slightly different as well which might have effect in the feel.
Just preference mainly, but there is a different feel.
