Looks pretty good, yeah my legs are just a few inches short for my usual tuck on my Glyde. I can still have a reasonable foot position but feels a bit sketchy with my knee on my heel. Roger bros makes a foam like gas pedals and they use to sell them on stoked.
glydes are arad board and modified mine to suit myself, everyones style, stance and tucks are different, its a personal thing, might end up chippin the shit off yet,coz it was freakin good before i fukd with it..see how it goes.,
leeso has suggest doing the same thing as you ben, the funny thing is in trying to maximise the available platform i had to tighten the curve over the back which meant i had to make the wood thinner to bend those tighter curves, if i had relaxed the curve the gas pedal would be just where you guys want it, i make it a point of not using a gas pedal after getting off my landy cause once your used to it it makes it hard to swap around your boards and it feels sketchy without it
yeh,i love all the platform area, especially on those runs with plenty of corners were i like to move around and change back foot position all the time, tucking in medium lenght straights im fine on it,it just that we been skating some absolute tuckfest hills and my ageing body struggles to hold the tuck i wanna be able to hold for long periods, this has just helped me with long tucking.,i was hesitant coz i didnt wanna risk changing the boards performance, like u say pete ,got to used to my evo tuck i think,..the photo is deceiving,i have only shortened my standing platform about an inch,it is a small adjustment to an already perfect d/h board
