means you can change the wedgeing, wheel base and mounting of the deck by just changing plates

So you can use a different pan or a different nose tail section depending on type of hill or what type of riding you are doing. You could have a separate pan that has greater concave or length, or you might want to use dropthrough nose and tail sections instead of topmount

Thats my freeride deck , FSU 3 piece . The ends are great for locking your feet in ! you can also change the ride hieght with the spacers ..
