That was brutal to watch. Glad both riders came out with nothing more than bruises. Maidens of steeze are a tough breed.

Wow this was so difficult to watch from online at home... they played it over and over again and I felt the pain for the two girls each time !!!!  So pleased they are both OK.

I was about 6 metres away from the accident on forest elbow when it happened, & I can tell you this was gnarly...

Incredible shot.  I missed the live feed and haven't seen the footage of it yet.  Mind if i ask how it happened?  From the still shot it looks like Gemma has gone up and over the front of Maga but the location of Gemma's board in the pic doesn't make my theory work.

I didn't see it, but was told that Gemma had crashed and was on her feet attempting to retrieve her board when she was hit by Maga.
