Nice job but you're gonna need to have strips go along the length of the press (esp at the rails) on the concave side of the form (not shown) otherwise you will end up with a wavey shape.
I've made a press like this before.

fitz- yeah.. the board i pressed had that waveyness, barely noticeable at a glance, but if you run your hand over it you can feel it.
