yeah Merrick, found this is the best race format for smaller numbers (<10) everyone gets plenty of riding in and the most consistent skater earns the win (unless you do a top 4 shootout and a grom cuts you off ) :)
It'll work for up to 10 racers, racing every other racer in a 2-man heat. That's a maximum of 45 races; 9 for each racer.
1. Write the racer's names in the yellow boxes.
2. For each race, write the winner's name in the appropriate spot in the draw.
3. Use the table at the bottom to write the final tally for each racer.
While I'm messing with head-to-head race formats, check these two columns below.
The numbers on the left indicate the number of racers while the corresponding number on the right indicates how many races will be needed. (This is for 2-man, round-robin heats, ala Arvin's race)

love your work bugs, very official.
we were just walking to the top of the hill and saying "i haven't raced you yet, lets go". if there's an odd number, everyone takes a turn sitting out, which works out well, then you have a finish line judge..
Trav - looks like you got robbed mate. our race is written down as my win, when in fact it was yours... which means you had one win more than me... i was running through it in my head on the drive back to syd after the race and thought we had the same amount of wins, but as it turns out you had more! oh well, the vagaries of a fun social race...
