Hey Stuart,
Is that a Rogers Bros. or did you make your own?
What thickness pan is that?

Made it myself. Its a 6mm pan and has got quite a bit of flex. Hopefully (experimenting) the pre-stress i put in it will allow it to stay flexible and not bend permanently.

Nice.
I made one myself also. I used 6mm aswell and got the rails curled up to give some flatcave. Wish I did eleptical concave instead. Mine flexed out pretty bad aswell. I scrapped it before I bent it any further.
Here a link.

Nice job, it really looks good, how heavy is it?
Comment by Mr Long on June 21, 2010 at 23:23
I checked out your board nice job. I thinned out the ends to see what i could get away with and it lowered the weight quite a bit. also just a touch shorter than a RB which is a bit annoying. I'm also working on a composite deck to attach the ends to to see how it goes.

its no heavier than my landyacht.

include 3mm aluminium plates in the deck pan layup where it bolts to the heads. This will stop the bolts tearing through whatever composite you use.
I never got round to making mine. Lettuce know how it goes.
