Simon.... that is the cannonball run. bondi junction to opera house. done it for 2 years now and will be on again in november. no road closures, no permits.....cause its an outlaw.

Re Oxford St - I thought about outlaw sure -  but what if you wanna do 200 skaters plus ? I'm talking a super fucking city skate - 

Taylor Square to Opera House - Down oxford right on to college - along macquarie and bomb to Opera House ? Then you need road closure or at least Cops on bikes to hold the traffic at the big sets of lights like Crown St and William St ? 

I've been keen to do this for nearly a year (similar to the Broadway Bomb in NYC) if anyone wants to work on the logistics with me let me know and we'll start a new forum ? We can get this sponsored and do it for a good cause - I have one in mind - Jacko/Robbo if your listening would be good to get the Hop Shop on board.
