Hiiiiiiii everybody! (Hi, Dr Nick!)
pretty new to the longboarding game. Knees wouldn't take any more street boarding anyhows. Wondering if there's any Eastern Suburbanite rookies getting up to any downhill or carpark action around the Randwick area.
hey, im not sure whats really happenin on this site haha im just lookin to have a nice chill sesh here in sydney, im not geared up for any real intense downhill im kinda more about cruisin right now, tryin crossstepping and tryin to meet people. sooo yeah anyone down for such things e mail me haha
Sups, recently joined myself, im guessing this is the best way to meet a few peeps and have a sesh. So when work gives me a break ill come for a skate.
G'day all, signed up here 2 weeks ago and just found this group... been out once with the SCBS which was awesome.
The only gear I've got so far is some harder bushes for my front trucks to prevent death wobbles and I've put some soft Kryptos on a stretched street deck ,)
I've been skating since the early 80's so have some decent carpark skills, just looking to build my knowledge on all the gear involved for proper downhill speed boarding. Still though I will probably build up my protective gear first and use the older/ longer street decks for a while. Seems everyone in these parts is cool to share decks with as well, which is pretty rad.
So yeah, anyone keen to test some hills on weekends hit me up too. I'm especially keen to check out the Waterboard hill in the mountains some day soon, as I've been told it's a reasonable run for first time downhilling.
Cheers,
