how do u get to naremburn shops/start of that run from hop shop??

You can ride all the way from Pacific Hwy down parralel to the freeway until it starts to rise back up again and it's all straight. The wind from the traffic on the freeway ensures you don't break the speed of sound.
Then continuing in that direction you can ride the next slope down which bends onto a small coulder sack road and then the path continues under the freeway at the end of the coulder sack. Then walkk to the top of that hill and ride it all the way down under the Gore Hill Freeway. The ultimate run is from Naremburn shops all the way down to the bottom of the track where you hit a sharp left hander.
There is also a bitumen path behind the Willoughby indor pool/leisure centre atr the end of the street that has a nice gentle slope, you can hit about 60kph on that and not have to worry about cars.

The Naremburn cycleway is usually busy with cyclists and walkers, so it's not really suitable for speed. There's lotsa blind bends with oncoming cyclists at 40 or 50km/h. Stay on the straights where you can see a long way ahead, and take it easy.

Yeah it's a Cycle way I usually ride luge in the gong or up the mountains but have found these cycle ways have brought my standup skills up there. That industrial area looks pretty cool always wanted to ride it but it's usually busy whenever i'm there. Will be heading up to Lithgow this sunday for a full on Session with sean and a few others. If you wanna see the best hills around check out Sydney Downhill madness.

Hey Phil where is naremburn

Hey I live in Naremburn and there is a nice track that runs from Lane cove (pacific Hwy) all the way down to naremburn. It's lit up at night so it'd be great to ride it with a group nice long and all downhill. It's not too difficult
