"Freshwater Wonderland" is a good place to take ur kids to learn how to stand on a board... it is just a carpark with a few slopes, hardly able to call it good for downhill...
check out "Freshwater Wonderland" good spot for downhill and free riding
The best hill i reckon are definatley in West head, Kuringai National Park, Pittwater. Has very roads some good downhill spots.
Me and a friend were going to make a video there.
i live by Manly lagoon, ride an orange wheeled Dervish and have just leant last week how to do sketchy cross steps on it. Looking to develop some slide skills during 2011 so I can slide from North Head down to the hospital...
Not too keen on going fast but would like to hang out with other longboarders and learn new board skills.
Currently finding our how to make a pair of homemade slide gloves.
