if your using it for sliding and carving, then the otangs will be perfectly fine. after all thats what they were originally designed for.
hey
stick to the o-tangs, all the pros use them, so that mush mean something !!!!
thanks guys but is it easy to slide in heat 80 a's?
i havnt really tried yet because i only got the dervish a couple of days ago.
you can slide any wheel. it all comes down to technique. just look at videos and work out the movements, then go and try it for yourself. also make sure you come out with us to one of the garage sessions in the city. no better way to learn than to ride with others with experience.
should slide fine once theyre worn, be persistant and they'll break in nicely i have a pair of seismic 85mmm blue took me ages to break em in but they slide verry well now
ok thanks yep ill try and get out asap
Loaded have written about this on their blog
How to break in Orangatangs for sliding

Pro's uses inHeats because of the shape. Shape edge helps with a more controlled slide.
Freeride wheels like Durians are designed to slide. Rounded edge and the stone ground finish means they slide straight out of the box. However, in a fast race situation, that slide might not end and you end up in the haybales.
