what is the best adhesives/glue to stick corian onto a leather glove?
Hey guys,
Just lately i have had troubles with leather gloves.
Im just wondering what is the best glue to make corian stick to my leather gloves.
I ahve tried hot glue, 3 differnt adhesives and other stuff to but none of it seems to work for longer than 2 or 3 seshes!
People have been telling me that shoe gue is the best but whats is your opinion?

scuff up the glove
glue velcro on with somthing like shoegoo
drill holes in the puck so that the glue has somwhere to attatch
glue velcro to the puck

Selleys Kwik Grip
drill small holes all over the puck and scuff it up as much as possible
Apply glue to glove
apply glue to glove velcro
apply glue to puck
apply glue to puck velco
wait at least 30mins so glue becomes tacky and touch dry and apply all this together at once like a sandwich and clamp together for a minimum of 24hrs
note: once the puck is velcrod and glued on there should be no need to remove it for any reason until it is worn out so don't do it!

Don't bother with anything but leather gloves.
Not worth the effort of making for how quick anything else wear out.
Turn the glove inside out so it's furry side out. This make a huge difference.
To make it stick even better than glue, hit the puck with a blow torch and melt the puck till it's runny and dripping, then immediately stick it on the furry leather and stand on it for a minute. Leave it to cool down and don't test it until it's totally cool otherwise it will just peel off. Once it's done properly like that it will never come off riding.
Cheaper than glue and cleaner.

These can be bought cheap from bunnings and ebay. camping shops tend to charge you more.
Theyre the perfect way to cook your pucks ready for sliding delicacies and here the bonus part. They can warm up your dinner when you camp out at Newtons playgound!!!
Get yourself some tongs from vinnies for $2 to hold the pucks for cooking and you're ready to go.

homemade pucks and gloves cost a 5th the price of bought ones.
Once they wear out, chuck em.
I used to use 16mm pucks. They last ages anyway.
