I was looking at getting some paris 180s and the classic yellow stims for a 9two5. Any input appreciated, if there is something wrong or problematic with this setup such as wheelbite please say. thanks

personal preference. but red paris and yellow tangs look sweet but doesn't really matter just what ever u want ahah
I wouldn't get Paris's they shorten wheelbase and you get wheelbite get some bears they're pretty much perfect for this deck.
ok thats disappointing, i would have liked blue steel paris trucks

why don't you take your deck to your friendly skate shop and try a set of paris trucks to see if they fit.

I own a 9two5, and am trying to find a pair of trucks that arent bear and dont give wheel bite.

So far, these are my findings:

Gunmetal 42 degree trucks - Major wheel bite.  can not ride.

Paris 50 degree trucks.  Significant wheel bite.  You can bushing it out, but its not that nice to ride.

Gunmetal 50 degree turcks.  Minor wheel bite.  Bushing it out seems harder with gunmetal's then Paris's.

Bear 840 trucks - No problem ever, flipped or unflipped.

Bear 852 trucks - No problem ever, flipped or unflipped.

Im yet to try Bear hybrids.  Can any confirm that they have the same "Geometry" as the standard bears?  ie, do they give wheel bite on the 9two5?

Thanks.

ive used randal 50 and 42 degree and munkaues on 925 .....im 60kgs never had a wheel bite once
shannon indys should work fine on a 925, i havnt tried it, but generally they are pretty good when it comes to wheelbite on drop through's, you may have to worry about rail bite though

Blake, Im 85kg, so that may be the difference.  I cant even roll down my hall way without getting major wheel bite on anything other then bears or really stiff bushings.

Thanks for the comment Sean, Ill try get my hands on a set of Indys to trial.  As for rail bite, while its not great, I dont mind it that much.  I used to get occasional rail bite from the bear 840's when pumping (but I do have old school cockroach rails on my 9two5).

I am currently running Durians, and find they work really well.  I find there is a little more "feedback" (or chatter) when doing standies with Durians then Zombie's.

Paris don't shorten the wheelbase that much, certainly not as much as Randal 42s which worked for Blake, and I've never had any problem with Paris dropped through. With 70mm wheels you shouldn't have any problems. But like Sean said Indys would probably work pretty well too, but if the 925 is old school bolt pattern only you will need 215 hybrids ( hit me up if you want a set) or the older Indys with the 6 hole plates.

Also I can sell you new Blue Steel Paris yellow Stims bearings and spacers for $150 if ya keen

you can just drill out the indys or your deck as another option, indys are abit of a pain to get them to work well, hybrids are a good option. I rate indys with a long enough kingpin as one of the best all round trucks bar none, awesome to freeride, great for DH, can even ride them in the park as well
