what are your thoughts on air brake jackets?

i was watching a sector nine vid, and this guy is wearing an air brake jacket. he uses it a few times throughout the video. have you ever used one? are they good, and effective? whats your opinion?

yes, opening your jacket while going down a hill on a skateboard does work well as an air-break, and will in fact slow you down. i opened my flanno once and used it as an air-break like that before. it does seem to be effective. my opinion is that you have now mastered aerodynamics... good job Billy.

Jacko, you could photoshop a jacket into your profile photo to make it look like you're using it to airbrake...

just buy one billy and let everyone know what you think of it if you are interested. they used them on the long trips in morocco i think, good on flat ground with a tail wind to use as a sail too.

I can't believe this thread exists. That is not a ''brake jacket''. It's a jacket. Just a damn jacket. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

Put a jacket on. Grab your board. Skate on the street in front of your house. Open the jacket. You will now know what it is like to use an ordinary jacket while skating.

everyone was indulging themselves in chocolate and feeling extra happy over the weekend, so we didn't even see the ridiculousness of this insanely stupid thread.
