So sad to hear that another longboarder has died on the roads. Even while wearing a helmet.

Skate safe guys and gals!

This is heartbreaking. Best wishes to her family and friends.
Longboarding is a very small community. A girl in her Early 20's doing Mt Seymour? Just holding our breaths till we know who it is.

A sad day.
Best wishes to his family and friends. rest in peace my friend

it was a girl. which narrows it down a lot. Someone we know or know of.
my condolences :(

i know it might not be the right place to mention it, but i think its great that the article didnt try to blame longboarding as a sport for the accident. even the police only said not to break the law, its great for the sport if something so austere as this can happen and everyday people are able to treat it is an abnormality and an accident, not something to blame on the sport itself.

like i said. my condolences to her family and friends.
woops my bad, meant to write 'her'. guess i am just used to male skaters and longboarders. pure respect for the women :)
