i swear to god that veneers in sydney are harder to find than "wally" and "carmen san diego" if they had a baby. so does anyone know of a place in sydney or even australia that sells either bamboo or maple or seriously even just pine?
the place that i got my last stuff from is in america, so getting the stuff in costs many moneys.

cheers, Dylan

Other than that mister plywood has 1.5 and 3mm sheets of hoop pine and I think 3mm gaboon(marine) ply

I'm going to give the hoop pine a go
my brother found a bamboo source out in western sydney!!!!!!

haha yeah steve!
well found!
Yeah but have you actually priced a 1200mm x 2400mm sheet of bamboo or any one of their veneers?

I have and at 0.55 to 0.6mm thick you are far better off buying a readymade deck. It is just too thin. What we need is affordable veneers that are around 1.5 to 3mm thick. Anyone?
