does a wheel with a greater contact area to the road help ya grip more or does it just make you go slower due to more friction ? ,
do ya think a heaps fat wheel would be less responsive when it came to steering ?
Either way whats the widest wheel on the market thats good for dh ? cheers

I'm not sure what it's like, but the widest currently is the seismic avilas at 75mm tall and 65mm wide, abec 11 are releasing a center set wheel which is 80mm tall by...70? i think, i don't remember exactly. sorry
The Black EW Superballs are 82a and have a 59.5mm contact patch.

They look like they have had an angled edge lathed into them.
I wonder how wide an untrimmed Superball is??,...... and if it tapers like Avilas?

Oh well,.... it doesnt look like they are making these any more. They are going for a measley 50 mm now.
the centrax wheels coming out soon from abec 11 will apparently be wider then they are tall,
they are supposed to be a version of the momos designed for the general public (mere mortals)
