Ok i am having troubles with my stand up slides, i pick up enough speed and carve into the slide and brake traction. But the direction is all wrong and by the time i have held the slide for 10 meters i am on the oposite side of the road having to jump off my board and go face first into gravel and grass.

Any suggestions or advice on how to fix this problem or straighten up my slides??

dont know if this is right, but when you carve into it hit the slide kind of facing the opposite side of the road goofy face more left and standard face right, so when you carve into it start sliding when facing staight, makes not much sence buti m guessing when you carve into it your carving too much before you brake traction, start carving at a more turned angle.

hope this helps.

10 Metres is giant. You do what i do a bit i'm guessing. You get some speed, carve in to it then just gradualyl push out the back wheels and hold them there.

Your thane lines would be kind of curvy too. You have to work on the kick motion. So instead of a gradual push to horizontal; which causes you to slide at an angle; work on kicking your back leg out so that your board goes from straight to horizontal really fast. This will have you sliding directly down the hill. This also makes your wheels flatspot faster. The way do at the moment means your wheels roll while you slide so the wear is even. Doing it kicking out looks classier and will go straighter but major flat spots are a danger.

The kick out motion is hard to get straight off when you try to change. Just work on going a bit slower first and doing it.

10 metres is pretty solid.
i have seen a 27m stand up slide, it made J shape lines

yeaaa merrick is a boss

47 is moreso

krisma is boss

liam morgan is also boss at standies

ahahah merric

your way faster than liam ;)

you might one day be faster than krimez...

i bet merrick would kick kevs ass!!!!! race him tomorrow

Hahaha merrick that is so rad. What setup were you rocking?
You have attained the level of sickness that people will start asking you what your setup is so they can buy it. Not too long before daddow or glyde bring you out a pro model i'm thinking ;)

Sick.
Lasttt question;

How do you like indy's compared to RKP trucks and how do race formulas wear?

I'm guessing you had some huge flatspots after doing that.

I did an 8-10m standy on some standard 70mm 78a s9 normal wheels and i got centimetre wide flatspots :/
Better than having them lie useless in the garage i guess.

EDIT: Haha i just remembered you are sponsored by s9. chances of another brand making you a pro model is pretty low considering that

they had no flatspots, indys are weird in a rad way... i was there ;)

wheels only flatspot if u slide like a grom, need to keep them spinning
