skating in the rain

is skating in the wet/rain going to damage any of your gear like ruin the wood in the deck or anything like that? or are they made to resist the water?

cos it looks like its gonne be a wet cannon ball tonight...

I hate riding in the rain cause it wet and miserable not to mention all the extra time needed to looking after my gear.
I pay for it with my own hard earned so I want it to last rather than thrash it.
So it takes all the extra effort to maintain it.

Apart from that there's no reason why you can't rain skate other than your sexual preference.
If you like giving, or taking it in the dinger, then you don't skate in the rain.
