Hey guys i was wondering what would be a good type of shoe to skate in. But when i mean good i mean ones that supply support and ones where you can feel the concave of your board nicely. I dont care about the soles of shoes because i will put a footbrake sole on them. your feedback is appreciated :D

Already a thread somewhere on ASRA about this, but Vans.

High tops provide the protection for your ankles from the ground and boards.

Low tops give you that extra freedom to move.

Both have good support, nice wide soles, feel good on the board and last a while.  Slap the footbrake sole on as soon as you get them!

Attaching a footbrake sole will change the characteristics that a shoe had depending on the rubber and how thick it is ect. Just use an old pair of skate shoes for now. Footbrake in them till you get a hole then slap on a sole.

Support is personal. Everyone has different feet that need support in different places. Ware what is comfortable for you.

Also I'm sure this has been asked before... :/

Cheers guys, cheers for the link skiidadles

got mine off ado at cr8tive sk8. get in there before he runs out!

or get a tyre and strip it, it's what i do!
