Stanley knife to cut the tyre, QuickGrip glue to fix it on.
Shoe goo works fine to man if you have it lying around. Quick grip is nothing special.
yeah quick grip dont work too good tried and failed, clamping your sole to the shoe is the major problem
I use one of these brakeboard trucks, you might be able to find them on ebay. obviously more expensive than an old car tyre, but they do exist.
quick grip works the best. obviously you are all doing it wrong... I have never had any problems with quickgrip and sometimes i have to get the belt sander onto my foot-break if i wanna remove it because its just stuck on there so damn solid... Theres many forum topics here stating how to PROPPERLY apply quick grip onto your foot-breaks, i suggest revising them and trying again. That shit will stick anything together when applied correctly

Try cleaning both the surfaces with acetone before you glue them.

yeah jacko i use quick grip to attach pucks but when i tried it on my shoes didnt have a clamp, what is the best way to clamp it man
I've found a Jigsaw cuts the rubber unreal too! takes less time and a cleaner cut! Kwik Grip is the bomb.
I found if you roughen up the surface a bit before gluing works well. Make sure you keep both halves separate for 40mins or whatever it is before sicking them together then clamp the hell out of it for a day or two. the longer the stronger. put as many clamps on as possible. even if you put a couple of weights on top with the sole flat on the ground.
as long as you leave both sides apart for about 20-30 mins and have a THIN layer of glue on each side, then stick em together, that shit aint coming off... you can put on the break and start walking around in it and it should work. if not you fucked up and i dont know, i guess you could have some form of down syndrome but hey i aint no doctor... You can just get something heavy and leave that on top of it for a few hours, or just back your car (or mum's car) over the shoe and leave it over night...
