Just got a set of the Sabres as a birthday present from my dad. :)

Thoughts Id pull them apart take a few pics.
They are VERY turny trucks.
They are very nicely finished too.

The kingpin keeps them totally centralised once fully assembled regardless of gaps when you put the bushing just in the hangar. Maybe you ride your trucks really loose and that can account for the slop. I use green elims cranked down to just a bit more than medium and I get none. These trucks are awesome, Love em
I had elims in there and I prefer to have the full movement of the trucks with the original Sabre bushings in there.

These are my fave trucks for sure, but they need to be on the right deck. Putting them on a topmount like an Avenger means theyd have to be tightened up way too much,....... its not fair to the trucks. :)

.....they want to be loose baby!!

Matthys is very concerned with bushing slop,.... Im not quite as worried about it as I used to be,... but I DID need to reel them in when they were dropped through on a Kebbek Smoothcut (and you know Kebbek cutouts are huge). Top mount them for sure!
i run my trucks loose enough to ensure there is no slop in the bushing seat, so that there is no middle point, and the turn is completely even, and with elims, thats tight as crap!
the new kush barricals from randal are amazing in that sense, soo smooth a turn, even with them supa loose!!

you can sorta see the diameter difference betweent the barricals and the elims.
