rad custom board artwork!
hey guys,

So i was looking to put something on the bottom of my comet loki. I had an idea of what i wanted... 2 worlds, the measured world and the chaotic world. In the Chaotic world i wanted Loki (god of mischief etc) to be the main feature, and other viking-type things in there too, some norse poetry, viking ships etc. One of my mates from work knows lots of urbans artists, i was talking to him about it and he said Dave Sims was the guy i needed.
So i met up with dave... and the rest is history.
Believe it or not he'd already been drawing loki characters! His portfolio was super impressive, lots of styles and diversity. I found a style that was exactly what i was looking for, and he was super keen to get started on this new project.
Anyways, so i went overseas for 6 weeks and so it was a perfect time for me to leave my board with him. Meant he could work on it without being rushed at all. I got back the other day, and just picked up my board tonight....and i still cant close my mouth. what he's done with this deck is... amazing. The pictures speak for themselves. And if you like what you see, times that by 100 and you'll have what it looks like in real life. David was awesome to work with and he was really eager to get the deck looking just how i wanted. Then i disappeared for 6 weeks and it was all up to him haha.
So if you have an idea of something you’d like on your deck or if you just want something fresh, hit this guy up. He's got massive skills and i couldn’t recommend him enough.
I couldnt be happier with what he created for me, and it'd be rad to see local artists getting their work out there.
