Deck flex doesn't help with pumping. Most slalom boards (which are designed for pumping) are very stiff.
As for top speed, either of those boards handle fine at 45km/h.
i have a tan tien flex one. Im really liking it for LDP because with feet at both ends its comfy with a little bit of flex but not heaps (im 60kg). Personnaly i would recoomend the tan tien over the dervish because the dervish is way too flexy and I find the nose/tail inst very good at all. From my experience the tan tien is better for everything.
Th concave on a tan tien is very comfy because its not real big so comfortable for a long period of time but u still notice its there (unlike dervish were it feels like there no concave)
I reckon you would be pushing it taking it over 40km/h even though it good be done with a good bushing set up and skill. But that doesnt bother me i would just carve/speed check down the hill, i have other boards for going fast.
if you want to know anything else cause ive ridden both baords quite a bit just send me an email.
