Haha wow so by the time you get it back you will have paid nearly $300 postage on a deck that was supposed to be a cheap second! Personaly I wouldn't send it back to rayne direct cause they will probably ask you for another $100 before they send it back to you.
Beter off getting an Aussie board builder to fix it for you here.

i got mine from the boxing day sale... so i dont know if they're gonna do anything about it. and will they make me pay for postage if they do???
I can just see it already :P  you  send your board over to get fixed, they will say its not repairable, throw it out, and offer you another "deal" on a deck, mean while youve now spent $600 and you still wont be able to take it back to an aussie shop if the new one fucks up either.

its cos they dont use thin venner, but a larger pice of bamboo to press out gnarly concaves.

then they just fill the cracks in with epoxy.......

do what merric said, rayne should get back to you pretty soon

if i was to get it wrapped in carbon fibre does anyone know how much it would cost... i dont really mind losing the graphic that much. but i do like it, is there a way to get it fixed and still keep the graphic??
talk to steve mate... he can do it... not sure on price... just ask him im sure it wont b much more than $100...
Too right. I was thinking of getting a killy once I can ride again but I was hearing of too many quality problems with Rayne before and this thread has plenty more. A Nelson or FP it will be instead I think.

this forum IS the place to raise issues regarding durability/safety of  skate equipment.  tim aint bagging the boards. so why delete the post?  wot if it was a set of trucks thats prone to disintergration..yer'd wanna know that, wouldnt yer. this sort of feedback keeps the manufacturers ahead of the game.

thanks for bringin it up tim, i was going to buy my lad a rayne board for his birthday next month, he was keen..  but 250 bucks worth of dissapointment burnin a hole in yer pocket down the track is not good..we go oz made instead.

I have a nemesis which is well ridden and my brother has a HellCat.  We have had no quality issues with either.
Hey Shannon, I have a Nemesis too, and no complaints and no doubt plenty of Rayne boards are fine, but I hear about more quality problems with Rayne than with any other manufacturer, particularly for the killswitch. I'm not keen to shell out only to suffer the same. The odds seem pretty high.
what do you mean like they are not being as strict with quality control
