What does this question even mean? what the crap is a 'non directional' pintail?

Heres my thoughts on Pintails though...

They suck. All of em. Stupid design, purley asthetic, not actually any good for skating.

*punch* pintails are rad
*punch* why?
the shape works, wide at the front, narrows back for your back foot, wide in the middle for rail control and less twist...
i'l agree that the bit that hangs over the back truck sucks the big one... but the rest works

Pintails are the most efficient shape ever for a longboard. its simple. its what was made first. they work. i ride a pintail shape board for all sorts of longboarding these days, and i'd be faster than you on a pintail shape...

the bit that hangs over the back trucks is the best part, as it can add some form of kick-tail.

so say again that pintails suck... maybe its just you who sucks?

the bit that hangs over the back works as a kick tail, yes i was just saying that its the only part of the board that isnt kickass, there are much more efficient kick tail shapes

I had a few pintails. I snapped all of them doing Boneless ones, Acid drops, kickturns, y'know- skateboarding... The narrow width at the back, and pin tail, means if you try to use that tail, the board will snap. Its an asthetic design, its also an easy way to make a flexy deck (people like flexy decks it seems) for just riding around on yeah, they work

oooh Jackson Shapera is faster than me on a pintail! I better go hang my head in shame, start listening to emo and plan to kill myself, my life is a black abyss! What ever Jacko, you dig pintails, I dont.  No need to go swinging your internet cock around.

it just seems that you think everything sucks Mike and your opinion on everything seems to consist of some form of sucking...

and most of your opinions pretty much suck, could be considered purely aesthetic, and not actually good for skating

The Dregs Alpine is one of the raddest pintails out there. It's fairly stiff and has the same concave as the S9 Race boards.
its all opinionated guys. different experiences are going to make people come to different conclusions.. like mike has obviously not had a very good time with pintails whereas jacko here shreds them so i reckon u should try for yourself to get a fel
I have a Sideways Retro pintail and i love to pump along on that or just coast along with my toes curled over the nose.  Best of all it allows me to push on the front whilst one of my sons rides on the back.

I think pintails are really pintaily!

Is that the sort of "pintail thought" you were after?

Is this a new low? Whether or not Mike is right about pintails, he's spot on about the original question....

Asking questions that make sense and have a purpose might seem a bit radical, but it's well worth trying.
