Yes, some people do. Some people also ride scooters.

Really anything that gets you skating is good enough

You should have seen the crap I started on.....(insert "back in the day", and rolling eyes thingy)

If you are a skater you actually don't give a rat's arse about what anyone else thinks!

Exactly right Bernie BACK IN THE DAY

if you had a choice now you would most likly pick anything else.

Also the price is way too much for something you could get back in the day for under $20

Yarp. $150 for a mass-produced plastic kiddie's board is a rort.

Lea, they felt pretty real last time I held one....

They're basically just a fad for the kiddywinks but at least it's an improvement over scooters and wiggleboards.

My 6 year old daughter refused to ride the board I gave her for a long time but then her best friend got a penny so now she wants to go skating regularly with her. I'm stoked that it got her back into skating.

im thinking of getting a penny too.. even though i just started longboarding on my comet FSM, its still good to have like an alternative to cruise around with something really light
