Do they stick together? Has anyone stuck the neoprene rubber to a shoe? What did you use? Did it stick?

I have volleys and rubber and a shoemaker/fitter man.

I think anything like shoe gue/glue contact cement etc would do the job
I saw this guide for the the r bros soles, worth a look Rogers Bros. Foot Brake Soles "How to" and Review from CIRCA.
got a cobbler on the Goldy who told me some of the glue they use is not available to the public...he's playing with converse and motorbike tyre for me; keep you posted
Contact Cement, cover both surfaces, leave for 10 minutes then stick together and clamp for 24hrs. Alot of the guys I luge with do their shoes this way, just make sure you have good coverage and clamp well. I use the same process but use liquid nails instead of contact.
Jonty, why are you sticking neoprene(wet suit material) to a shoe?
All right, thx guys, sounds pretty doable.

I know it is called neoprene rubber, and it is really thick/strong. Maybe wetsuits have treated versions of it, so that they come outas they do, but believe me, it's more like tyre, less like wetsuit material.
Sweet. Post some pics of the finished items..

Will do, the cobbler said that the pieces weren't wide enough though, so I need to get some more.

Do youself a favour and skip the neoprene rubber and go straight to car tyre, the neoprene is crap compared to tyre,i tried it,done shoes in 8mm neoprene rubber, wore out back to my shoe sole after 1 skate, plenty of us have tried everything and nothing lasts half the time tyre will...
Thanks for the tip. I might give both a go, so I can learn from experience. Plus, your "skates" are probably 10x gnarlier than mine from looking at your vids. :P
