theres plenty of discussion on the fish about metro but to sum it up they are pretty renouned for being an icy-freeride wheel that doesn't really slow you down when your sideways. as for  straight out bombing any wheel that is round will work though a larger wheel will give you a slightly faster roll speed

Metros are okay, I didn't mind them although i had the 78a duro so I can't really say much about the 80a's but they're basically really icy and yeah they don't shave much speed off. I'm just gonna say i prefer the Abec 11 thane loads more.

I really like them. The 80a ones are very icy. The 78 a bit less so. They wear very evenly. I have ridden a couple of sets to the core without them getting too flat spotted or wonky. They are reasonably priced too. May as well try them out I reckon

I have the grey 80a and they are the best free ride wheel I have had.
