Longboarding in Canberra
Has anyone got any good sites in Canberra for longboarding / downhill where I am not going to get cleaned up by a car or locked up?. Old to skateboarding but I am new to longboarding and all my mates have grown OLD! so im startin from scratch again as to finding good spots.
I heard that Bathurst was opened up in Jan for some practice runs?? Is this true or will there be a chance to ride down it prior to Nov?

hey man if you want to go long boarding I'm up for it anytime, also some guys will be going out to the snowys on the 7th and 8th of march, you could try the redhill area mellowish hills and not to much traffic.

I dont want to comit just yet, but i am keen to come to the Snowies and check out what its all about.
not up to speed on all the safety equipment that is required yet. What do you recomend if going down these hills.
(I have just been usung a bottle of Bundy so far to pluck up the currage)
I wouldnt mind catching up sometime just to see if im going in the right direction with my board and get some tips on setting it up.
