ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

We use longboards (not drop decks) to ride the Elwood Bowl in Melbourne on Wednesday nights, which is a vintage capsule bowl with a roll in.

Lumpy old concrete makes longboards the preferred weapon.

So who does it?

How long is the snake run?
Springvale ditch on Friday 13th will be the next longboard snake run session, with timer & cones!

Martin Siegrist does it!

I think I should point out that Henry dropped in on the Belco bowl on a 9two5 the other day....
*dropspeed my bad (won't let me edit post?)

Good work Henry!

Do it again and get a photo!

Note to self : fullface in a bowl looks weird.
note to self martin siegrist looks awkward unless in full tuck. its in his eyes he is shit scared.
getting shit scared is why I skate!

it's actually ridiculous how good belco is on a longboard...there's a roll in to the snake run section, you mob in from the footpath and hit it full speed....wicked sauce!

it's a must for anyone comming to canberra! and if you're into street skating, you'll be stoked, the street section goes forever!

Tim, hope you got back up and tried again.

Riding banks and bowls is great training for ditch racing at Springvale, Kincumber, Canberra's Teeth of Doom, and for those that really want to be shit scared, Melton.
