ASRA should get in on that, or we should all pitch in some money and donate it to ASRA.
How is the van running on vege oil relevant to its capacity to take people back up the hill?

how do they slide?
inviromentally friendly is how it is relevant, i think thats the only reason why you would be looking at it to use as transport at newtons playground, as all of the racing at newtons is pretty friendly to the environment compared to most other types of racing (moto racing) so having an enviro friendly car would be the next step in helping the friendlyness of the event to the environment

How does one fill this puppy up? do you need to find a large fish and chip shop to get fuel in it?

how well does it run with vege oil?
My mate collects old vege oil from cafes and restaurants (thats getting alot harder now cause people are catching on ), lets it sit for a few weeks in barrels, then passes it through a 5micron(i think ) filter, then just mixes it with regular diesel , keeps it in the back in a 20 litre jerry can with a hose and funnel

you actually mix the vege oil with regular diesel so that the flash point (ignition point) of the fuel remains reasonably low , too much vege oil and the flash point goes up and its harder on the engine . it runs really well and smells alot better too lols. Theres various different methods of mixing vege oil but my mate found it easiest to just mix it with diesel 50/50

yah , it can take some time going around to places to get the oil , alot of oil companys even pick the used oil up from places now as they re sell it to other companys that recycle it , but if you can get in at a few different places you can do alright out of it , an average small cafe would go through about 40 litres a week , so if ya get a few of those you can do ok , just take into consideration the time of picking it up , letting it settle , and then filtering it
