Just got new leathers and I'm finding them a tad heavy and awkward. I was planing to remove some of the pads that i dont need eg shoulder pads and spine protecter. So asking anyone if they have much pads in their suits aswell as should i keep them or remove them?

if you havent ridden in leathers before, you will find them awkward to begin with. I know with my first suit, i pulled out the shoulders to make them a bit less bulky, but personally, i would leave in the knees, elbows, and spine if your suit has them. I know the knees in my old suit saved me from really doing myself some damage.
You need the knees dude. Shoulders and back hump not so much. You might find taking the shoulders out helps a bit with tightness across the chest when youre airbraking and reaching out to bump people.
I found it hard/impossible to slide with the shoulder pads in. I took them out and it worked fine. As the others said, leave the knees.
cheers guys helped alot:)
